Belmont County Veterans Service Office    

Belmont County has recently updated the phone system at the courthouse.  This has created some problems.  Our extension has been changed from 125 to 1133 or 1134.  All the bugs have not been worked out so please be patient and keep trying.

If you are a veteran of WWII, Korea, or Vietnam era and you left high school to join the military or was drafted out of high school you may be eligible to receive your high school diploma.  Please contact our office for further information. 

The office will be closed Wednesday November 11, 2009 for Veterans Day.   

Due to the high cost of fuel we are offering gasoline vouchers to eligible veterans or dependents who fall under certain income guidelines. 

VETERANS or their eligilbe dependents who are eligible for HEAP may also be eligible to have our office pay one of your heating bills between the months of November 1 thru March 31.  If HEAP is paying your heating bill in full you may be eligible for us to pay your electric bill.  Contact our office for more information.
